Great memories are made of such ... gatherings with long time friends! Finally Traven, Gauis, Mike & myself managed to arrange time to meet up for dinner together. Gauis & Traven both brought their sweethearts along & we ate @ Village in China Square Central followed by Soya Beancurd @ Rocher. It was a truely enjoyable & unforgettable evening!

Gauis was truely the livewire of our group, having all of us in stitches most of the time ... while we were @ Village, though it was supposed to be self-service style, the chef from whom I ordered my salmon from personally delivered it to me at our table much to the amusement of the rest .. *lol* .. also, when we arrived @ the beancurd shop, it was overcrowded with people, but just @ the exact moment, the traffic police arrived forcing many of the patrons to scurry off to drive their cars away in bid to avoid being issued a summon. This gave us plenty of seats to choose from! :)

Come to think of it, our friendship has gone back since almost 3 years now .. & I thank God for the bond of friendship we share! I do hope we'll get to catch up again before I leave @ the end of this year... I will always remember them fondly. :)

Time sure flies! Its almost week 5 of the 3rd term...life has been busy..with all its ups & downs I'm still immensely grateful to Father God for just being alive! Many days I leave school feeling discouraged & upset, but His strength has sustained me & the passion that keeps me going & smiling. In the mornings, I take in a deep breathe before getting in the car ... & when I feel the crisp fresh morning air & hear the birds chirping brightly, I can't help but thank God for life! :)

Let's see .. what have I been up to? Hmmm. .. oh! My cousin got married which explained the red dress i wore above .. it was held @ Sentosa .. it lasted from 5:30pm to almost 11 at night .. I promised never to torture my guests like that during my wedding!! *hiak hiak* But .. of all the weddings I've been to ... this has got to be the one with the longest "Yum seng" ... :)

Then, my mom's relatives from Shanghai came for a visit & suddenly I was called upon to help in the entertaining .. .. it was kinda strange coz the last time we visited them in China was almost 15 years ago! Yet granduncle (from Shanghai) asked me if I recalled having taken a pic with his daughter then ... hmm... his memory is better than mine!! I must be getting old ... lol

Ah .. it's of mixed feelings ... mostly of great expectation & anticipation as I prepare for my studies overseas next year. I've started my own revision in health psychology & anatomy in preperation .. but am excited at the tot of getting accomodation & a whole new life! Initially the plan was to leave by June this year but I decided against it because I felt responsible to the 4N & 4E classes I was taking .. also I will miss my form class & GB ... :( I will try my best to give what I can & bear with everything till the end .. before I embark on a whole new adventure!! Woo Hoo!! :):)
