Reading: "City of Bones" by Michael Connelly
Mood: Hungry
Blessed Chinese New Year!! Today's the 2nd day of a new Lunar New Year & it's been good so far ... cept for the lack of sleep & the hope of having the 3rd day as a holiday as well, it's been an eventful & fruitful new year.
Above is a pic i took of my family yesterday ... my elder brother, my niece, my sis-in-law, my parents with my paternal grandmother who lives in the house juz behind me. This year's new year is a more heartwarming one for me - i feel much closer to my family, esp my mom & this's like a dream come true for me. i will cherish this picture forever ... next year, i'll make sure i'm in it too. :) another thing that made me happy is that both my mom & bro are wearing the clothes i bought them ... :)
Took quite a no of pics over the past two days ... esp. loved the close up pic i took of my mom ... but my grandmother, tot a close up look of my mom is a "fat" picture of my mom & commented my mom put on weight .. *grrrrrhhhhh* ... my mom is so skinny leh! well, wateva! :)
i feel happy & contented .. things @ home are looking better. relationships seem to be improving ... a little. :) anywayz, i realise it's my mom's 60th bday this year ... am thinking of treating my entire family to Crystal Jade Ginseng Chicken & BBQ restaurant. see how it goes ... :) anywaz, my mom, Megan & my sis-in-law all ill *i'm not!!!!!! :):):) so proud of myself & thankful to Daddy God!!!" so my greatest wish is they recover soon!
Been reading so many so many books recently to a rate i'm almost devouring them!! much credit to Ms Ng Ah Hoon, a colleague who generously lent me so many good books! i decided to list the novels i've read from 2 months back:
1) Sphinx by Robin Cook
2) Mortal Fear by Robin Cook
3) The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
4) Deception Point by Dan Brown
5) Angels & Demons by Dan Brown
6) Mutation by Robin Cook
7) Toxin by Robin Cook
8) Vital Signs by Robin Cook
9) Brain by Robin Cook
10) Spring Fever by P.G. Wodehouse
11) Something Fresh by P.G. Wodehouse
in fact, i've been reading more books than i've had in the past few years combined. :) amazingly enuff, i still have more than enough time to do my marking & go out... :):) umm.. not in too much of a mood to write more today... slept too little yesterday ... sleepy! :) want to do some marking! :):) see ya!
